Supported video formats¶
vShare use mencoder/ffmpeg for converting video to FLV format.
You will be able to upload any format supported by mencoder/ffmpeg, if you have another video converter that work with command line, you can use it with vShare by modifying include/settings/video_conversion.php
If you upload video in FLV or MP4 format, no conversion is done as these formats are supported by FLV player. MP4 is HD format.
vShare use programs like mencoder or ffmpeg for converting video into FLV format. If you mencoder/ffmpeg installation can convert a video format into FLV format, then vshare can allow the format.
Following video formats are supported by mencoder.
